Cancer Support and Counselling Services in Bletchley, Milton Keynes

At Jo’s Hope, we offer counselling services for your friends and family to help them deal with and comprehend the effects of cancer. Messy Creative Play

Messy creative play is not just about fun—it’s a vital tool for learning, self-expression, and emotional regulation, especially for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those educated at home.

It offers a sensory-rich experience that can support the development of fine motor skills, language, and cognitive processing in a safe, pressure-free environment. Every Tuesday 10:30 – 11:30

Musical Theatre Club

Open to anyone from 9 to 18 years old, our Musical Theatre Club includes a mix of singing, dancing, and acting for young people. We understand that after-school activities and clubs can be costly for some families, and as such, we offer these sessions FREE of charge.

This is a great opportunity for children to come and hang out, make new friends, and either learn new skills or develop their existing talents.

Chess Coaching Club

Open to children and young people aged 9 to 18, our Chess Coaching sessions are suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to advanced players. With supportive guidance, we aim to help children develop focus, strategy, and problem-solving skills.

This is a great opportunity for young people to learn at their own pace, gain confidence, and make new friends in a fun and welcoming environment.

Bingo Lunchtime Club

Our Bingo Lunch Club is open to all and combines fun, friendship, and a touch of excitement. Join us every Wednesday afternoon for lively bingo games, the chance to win prizes, and the opportunity to share a meal together in a warm and welcoming space.

This is a great way to meet new people, enjoy some social time, and take a midweek break. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome to come along, relax, and be part of the community.

Welbeing Coffee Morning

Our Helping Hands Wellbeing Coffee Morning runs every Friday from 9.30am–11.30am, offering a warm and welcoming space for everyone in the community. Enjoy a tea, coffee, and bacon roll for just £2, meet new people, and take part in weekly support services such as form filling, benefit advice, and digital help.

It’s a safe, inclusive space where you can relax, make friends, and connect with others. Whether you’re feeling isolated, new to the area, or simply looking for a friendly chat, you’ll always find a smile and support waiting for you.

Breast Cancer Support Group

Our Resilient Warriors Support Group provides a safe and welcoming space for those affected by breast cancer. Meeting every Tuesday, this group offers the chance to share experiences, find emotional support, and build connections with others who understand the journey.

Refreshments are provided, and all are welcome — whether you’re newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or supporting a loved one. Together, we aim to uplift, empower, and remind each other that no one has to face cancer alone.
